The Steak aka Sarah Haug is an illustrator from Geneva, Switzerland, specialising in live VJ performances built frame-by-frame on a digital tablet. Her most recent project, “Fitness dans le forteresse”, ‘tells the story of a bunch of hairy yellow girls who are working out frantically in midst of crocodiles, dragons and other creatures to seduce the charming knights.’

Sarah was visiting London this week and we were lucky enough to have her at Beach London on Monday as we showed the UK Premiere of FDLF. Projected onto two screens, and mirrored via a complex scaffolding system, The Steak had her video accompany a live performance from incredible math two-piece Lightning Bolt at Mapping Festival, held in her hometown earlier this year.
